Characteristics of our School

: Most of our students go on to a post-secondary school such as universities and graduate schools. At TOEI Japanese Language School, we provide the finely-textured career counseling appropriate to each student's goals by the counseling staff. For those who are interested, we provide guidance for a mock interview and short essay practice. Also, you can attend to prep-examination class specially made for Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students and Kanji class, so that students can reinforce their weak points.

: Our students are from various countries and areas, including Asian and European countries. By necessity, their common language is Japanese because they have different nationalities and mother languages. Communicating with students from different countries outside of classes, students have the opportunities to learn about the cultures and traditions of other countries.

: TOEI Japanese Language School incorporates various events and activities into the school curriculum throughout the year, such as class outside of the facility, field trips, sports events, and year-end party. Students and teachers are close. Teachers sincerely answer the questions from students, grasp the understanding level of each student, and provide guidance in a courteous manner. In order for students to be able to enjoy learning Japanese and spend meaningful life in Japan, we support each student as far as possible. Many of our alumni visit us even after their graduation, which is one of our characteristics.

Visa Consultation: If you would like to attend our comprehensive Japanese "Certificate Course", you will need to apply for a Student Visa. TOEI Japanese Language School or our oversea office will handle the visa application process for you.
Consultation regarding leaning Japanese: Depending on each student's goal and objectives (advancement to university or graduate schools, obtaining a job position at a Japanese company, etc), we provide the detailed guidance to students. Also, we regularly report the student's academic performance and attendance to their parents or guarantees.
Career Guidance: We provide counseling services by the experienced and professional staff. We have the system to recommend you to the certain universities and college, as a school.
Counseling regarding the life in general: Our school is like "parents" for students, and our staff is like a brother and sister. Please feel free to talk to us about anything, such as accommodation problems, part-time jobs, concerns in daily life, etc.
Health problems: Joining National health insurance is mandatory for our "certified" course students. Those who are interested can join the insurance designed for foreign students. You will be able to feel more secure and safe with a little cost.

: TOEI has Kanji Classes 3 times per week and provides thorough Kanji learning guidance, using ability grouping system specific for Kanji because many international students have a difficulty with Kanji. We support the students from countries that don't use kanji, so that they can learn Kanji comfortably.

・We have four levels of Kanji classes.

・We use the different grouping system specially for Kanji ability, separately from the usual class grouping, so that the students from countries that don't use kanji can learn Kanji comfortably.

・Kanji classes are provided three times per week.
